Report: Justin Upton to Sign Six-Year Extension With D’backs

News is circulating on Tuesday morning that the Arizona Diamondbacks and outfielder Justin Upton are close to agreement on a six-year contract extension that would pay Upton in the neighborhood of $50 million. The deal was first reported by Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal , and though the Diamondbacks do not comment publicly on extensions until they’re official, it seems it’s only a matter of time before the deal is announced. ?
