Alex Ovechkin helped lead the charge with two goals and an assist and also recorded his 500th career point (in 373 games). The goal to give him point No. 500 was a highlight reel, one-handed effort — with Michael Rozsival hanging all over him — to beat Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist with less than nine seconds to play in the second period. ?
