U.S. Picks Roster for Netherlands Friendly

Filed under: International , US Soccer , U.S. Men’s National Team With just one international FIFA-approved matchday looming before the World Cup in June, U.S. National Team coach Bob Bradley announced a 20-man roster ahead of the March 3 friendly in Amsterdam against the Netherlands on Thursday. Turns out, the play of a couple of players in Wednesday night’s 2-1 victory by a U.S. “B” team in Tampa, Fla., over El Salvador didn’t matter all that much, since only four players from that group — Heath Pearce, Robbie Findley, Clarence Goodson and Jonathan Bornstein — will make the trip over the Atlantic. ?
